Thordon PT80 fluid bearings were developed to offer a higher operating temperature limit (80oC/176oF) while keeping similar mechanical and functional properties such as low friction and low swell, high wear resistance (even when faced with abrasive particles) and dry start ability when compared to Thordon’s existing elastomer grades. Thordon PT80 fluid bearings also offer improved environmental benefits during manufacturing, as well as in the finished product.
